It’s Time to Take Your Brain to the Gym!
Although not technically a muscle (even if some people do think you’re a meathead), the brain needs to be exercised. Yeah, you heard me right. It’s no different than any other part of the body in that to function at peak performance, it must be kept in shape.
Before you say it, because I know some of you are thinking it (I can hear you, you know), the answer is no; that’s not what the skull does. The skull simply keeps the brain out of the wind and rain while providing a way to carry it around with you when on the go. It doesn’t keep the brain in shape.
I’m not talking about physical shape here anyway, but rather the state of sharpness, acuity and usefulness. You must exercise that sucker on a regular basis if you want to have 6-pack abs of the cortex. Gang up on those good-for-nothing ganglia and neutralized neurons and put some snap back in your synapses. Take your brain out for a rejuvenating run through the oblongata obstacle course.
Everyone who’s anyone does it:
It’s what “The Donald” does. If you want to be qualified to be ON “The Apprentice,” and not just watch it on the mind bandit you should, too.
All the best marketers in your niche do it. That’s why you’re always a day late and a dollar short while they’re walking away counting the money from YOUR next client.
And that guy at the bar last Friday that stole the cute little brunette right out from under your nose after you spent your paycheck on dinner and drinks? Yup, him too. He was building his cerebral cleverness all week long just to do the dunce dance around you on Friday.
I promise you, it won’t hurt a bit to improve on your thinking abilities. And even if it does, I won’t mind. After all, it’s your headache (sorry, I just couldn’t let that one slip by me).
Getting a little “mellon mojo,” doesn’t necessarily need to be an unpleasant experience. There are ways to spice it up a bit; even make it fun. If you’re up for the challenge, check out this site. I guess I should tell you this is the “brain child” of Mark Joyner, internet marketing legend and wizard of things yet to come. I have been learning a lot under Mark and one of these days, when I catch him napping again, I’m gonna ease right on past him riding the knowledge he gave me.
Well, everybody’s gotta have a dream, don’t they?
